Church in Bedford

Hello Loved Ones,

Welcome!  Our conviction is that the LORD desires house churches.  So we aim to live in that way.  My wife and I are looking for nearby disciples and others that may be similarly minded.  We are in our 40s, a husband and wife, with young children.  All ages are welcome but we’ll have to learn together how our gatherings can work with those young ones too.  After all, it is our job to disciple them.

We take our direction from our true and authoritative bibles and the Holy Spirit.  We believe He is in charge of the meeting and it takes time and messiness to learn how to work with Him in that.  We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are to be exercised in our meetings for the edification of all “decently and in order,” *as folks feel led*.  The New Testament says every member can contribute to the meeting.  Simply, our hope and prayer is to establish a local Church Body that would resemble what we see in the book of Acts, i.e., they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.
