Agape Fellowship

We are a fellowship whose primary purpose is to enjoy the presence of God, enjoy the fellowship of the saints, be conformed into the image of Christ and reach the lost. We have been doing home based fellowship since 2010 and have found that things go best when we lay out some basic doctrine/belief on the front end so that those interested in visiting can determine if our fellowship might be a good fit for them (we know the word DOCTRINE turns a lot of us house church people off but experience teaches us it makes fellowship MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE if we’re all on the same page when some basic/central issues).

* Christ is the head of the Church, and ultimately it’s the Holy Spirit Who leads and equips the church on earth (not a pastor or any man or woman). Being Spirit led is central.

* The bible is God-inspired and inerrant in all it’s teachings. We are NOT KJV only-ists or Calvinists.

* We believe in headship in marriage- that the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church. Women are 100% encouraged to fully participate in all activities in the body of Christ, with the exception of teaching men or mixed groups (men and women).

* We believe in the permanency of covenant marriage, that is that only death separates a covenant marriage (adultery, abuse and abandonment don’t justify divorce and remarriage). This is a toughie for a lot of people but we believe the bible is clear on the matter.
