Church In His Presence

“Church In His Presence” (CIHP) ministry is praying for, and planning to start a “home church” within the first 6 months of 2024.  Home churches have been in existent since the book of Acts, 2000 years ago.  We will operate from Poplarville, Mississippi 39470.  The focus of our gatherings are simple.  We follow the biblical guidelines set by the early church throughout the book of in Acts of the Apostles.  Acts 2:37-47.  Our foundation is in the truth that Jesus Christ was sent by God, the Father.  He lived on earth, was crucified, died, and rose again, and is alive, seated at the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:5-7, 19; John 3:16-17).  He is Lord and Savior, and came from heaven to earth, in the flesh, for the world sins and redemption (John 1:1-14).  We believe in the trinity, and Christ as the only way to God (John 14:6), sent through the virgin birth of Mary.  We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:1-8, 2:1-4), and the gifts of Spirit given to the body of Christ (I Cor. 12).  CIHP aim to live for Christ in everything    —- duplicating His lifestyle to reach the lost and awaken, teach, and equip the saved “to go” and catch fish/souls (Mark 16:15-20, Matt. 28:19 niv).

CIHP is a “New Covenant” teaching ministry (Rom. 7:4-6; 2 Cor. 3:6-7: I Cor. 11:23-25; Heb. 8:8, 13; John 13:34) —- recognizing we live in the difficulty of the “End-Times” (I Tim. 4:1-2; 2 Peter 3:3).  We have no denomination.  Our denomination is Christ Jesus, and His Word, the bible.  We hope to awaken and raise disciples who authentically desire to live fully committed, holy lifestyles, demonstrated by Christ.  Maybe you feel trapped or the entanglement of what you are seeing and have been considering and/or seeking a change for authenticity in the gospel.  As stated by Frank Viola, in his book, “Finding Organic Church,” we need a revolution in our understanding of the Christian life.  We need a revolution in our practice of the church.  And we need a revolution in our approach to church planting.”  Sadly, many are exhausted with the traditional and religious churches of today, their hierarchal structures, costly buildings, organizational goals, and systems.

At CIHP, Christ alone, is the center of the ministry and the center of each person within the ministry.  Each person brings knowledge, gifts, talents, experiences, and the capacity to reach others.  We are a circle, not a hierarchy.  We are all servants.  CIHP believes that Jesus died for every Believer to have access to a fullness of life, health, and provision.  Jesus’ death paid for our atonement in salvation, and in all sickness, Is. 53:4, 1 Peter 2:24.  CIHP seek those that are “seriously” pursuing and desiring to maintain a lifestyle that involve practical and spiritual application of the scriptures.  Through the transformation of the mind (Romans 12:1-3), we continue to learn how to reach lost and hurt people, for salvation, and further demonstrated in the evidence of miracles, signs, and wonders, Mark 16:15-20 (KJ); Matthew 10:7-10 (KJ).
