Followers Of Jesus

We are a gathering of people from diverse backgrounds who meet in various homes, apartments or other locations around the city. We are intentional, rather than passive in our following of Jesus. We are focused on both inward and outward ministry. (E.g., we build up and equip one another as the Body of Christ as well as go into the harvest (community and beyond) to bring the Good News of Jesus to those outside the faith.) We are focused on following Jesus the way He calls us to so that we can labor in the harvest the way He has modeled for us, as found in the gospels.

Our gatherings center on the following things as seen in Acts 2:42, I Corinthians 12-14 and Ephesians 4:11-16 (among other life and body dynamics)

The Word of God (mainly in a facilitated discussion approach to discover what scripture in saying and how to live it out; but also though periodic teaching by leadership)

The fellowship of the Body of Christ (both doing life together as well as equipping for ministry)

The breaking of bread together (communion as well as full meals together)

Prayer (everyone joining together in prayer rather than just a brief opening and closing prayer by leadership)

We are laboring to multiply disciples as well as reproducing house churches near and far.
