Kerusso Baptist Church

Kerusso Baptist Church is a house church in Baton Rouge committed to boldly proclaiming “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Cor. 2:2) throughout Louisiana and beyond. We exist for the glory of God and “for the sake of the elect” (2 Tim. 2:10).  Our vision is to be strategically small so disciples of Jesus can experience true transformative fellowship.

The church is not a building, but forgiven sinners saved by God’s grace to worship Him through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord.  No matter where KBC assembles, there are certain activities that mark our gatherings according to Scripture. 

In our church meetings, you can expect hymns to be sung, prayers humbly offered, testimonies shared, God’s Word proclaimed, the Lord’s Supper experienced, new converts baptized, the saints encouraged, and families sent out to proclaim “what great things Jesus had done for [them]” (Luke 8:39).
